FUNERAL SERVICES


Funeral services are being held by the American Legion of Bear Lake Post No 84 this afternoon from the Ovid ward chapel over the remains of Henry Seth Sleight, 36 years of age, who died in a Salt Lake hotel last Saturday. The deceased is a son of the late Fred Sleight and wife, pioneers of this valley who resided in this city for a number of years. He leaves a daughter 15 years of age to survive him, his wife having died several years ago.

The deceased served in the world war a soldier in Siberia. In recent years he has been employed by the OSL Ry Co. as a painter and assisted in painting the local deport several years ago. Government insurance was left to his daughter in the sum of $1200.00. An account of his death appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune Sunday stating that he was found dead in a room in the Lincoln Rooming house by one of the hotel attendants who saw him on his knees at the foot of the bed and discovered he was dead.

Ross Sleight of Ovid, a brother went to Salt Lake Monday and brought the body home for burial. An inquest had been held there and two doctors being present and pronounced his death as heart trouble.
