SERVICES HELD FOR FORMER RESIDENT
Henrietta Bridges Jensen, 55 died at 4 pm Friday at Blackfoot. The daughter of the late C H and Mary Ellen Bridges, she was born at Dingle, October 5, 1901. She and Earl Jensen were married June 21, 1927. Mr. Jensen preceded her in death in December 1947. Mrs. Jensen was a member of the LDS Church.
Surviving are a daughter Mrs. DeEtte Duffey of Prineville Oregon; three sisters Mrs. William Grandy of Ogden, Mrs. Elmer Jewett of Jamestown, California and Mrs. Ray Pugmire of Montpelier; and four brothers C M Bridges, L C Bridges and Jesse Bridges both of Dingle and A M Bridges of Montpelier and five grandchildren.
Services were held at 2 pm Wednesday in the Montpelier Second Ward with Bishop Leland J Muir conducting. The opening song duet "I Have Read of a Beautiful City" President Winslow Swensen and Mrs. Walter Hunzeker, accompanied by Lillis Swensen; invocation Bishop Bryron E Mumford; vocal solo "The Lord's Prayer" Mrs. Waldo Andersen; obituary BishopMuir; speaker Bishop Alvin C Tueller; vocal trio "My God and I" Mrs. Reed Lowe, Mrs. Dean Larsen and Mrs. Hunzeker; speaker Bishop J Warren Sirrine; violin selection "The End of a Perfect Day" Mrs. Grover Swallow; song "Going Home" benediction Bishop Homer Mouritsen. The prelude and postlude were played by Mrs. Carl Seewer.
Pall bearers were Mayon Bridges, Marcel
Bridges, Jesse Bridges, Russell Bridges, Ray Pugmire and Leonard Williams.
Interment was in the Montpelier cemetery and the grave was dedicated by Richard
Jensen. The Matthews Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
