SERVICES HELD FOR PARIS WOMAN
Hannah J Humpherys, 91, resident of Paris Second Ward, died Monday morning January 21 at 1:15 am at her home, of natural causes incident to old age. Hannah Jeppson was born June 30, 1865 in Liverpool, England. She became a member of the LDS Church in 1883 and came to America September 14, 1885. She married John J Humpherys August 22, 1916, who preceded her in death January 28, 1921.
Her life has been devoted to her church. She became counselor in the Paris Second Ward Relief Society from 1919 to 1922 and president of the Relief Society from 1922 to 1928.
Funeral services were held today (Thursday) at
1 pm in the ward chapel. Burial was in the Paris city cemetery.
