DIES AT ST CHARLES-Mrs. Hannah Jacobson died Dec 24th of old age and general debility at the home of her daughter, Mrs. James Pugmire. Deceased was born in Sweden in May 1831. She is survived by one son and one daughter, four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Her funeral services were held in the meeting house on Monday Dec 28. Bishop Transtrum presiding. The speakers were life long friends of the deceased and their remarks were largely reminiscent of their early day associations with the deceased. Many beautiful floral offerings covered the casket.
