DIED SUDDENLY
The St Charles community was shocked last week by the news of the death of G A Nelson, a young man of that place and one of the prominent resident of the south end of the county. Pneumonia followed by other complications, is stated as the cause of the untimely death of this young man. Mr. Nelson was 31 years of age and is survived by a widow and one child: his mother Mrs. R P Nelson, and a number of brothers and sisters. Mr. Nelson was a graduate of the Utah Agriculture college.
Funeral services held for Mr. G A Nelson, March 12 in the St Charles Chapel at 1 pm were presided over the Counselor J W Linford, being under quarantine, Bishop J A Hunt, was unable to be present at the services. The speakers were life long friends of the deceased, S E Schofiled, E E Keetch, Bishop Owens of Logan, Pres. Ola Transtrum and J W Linford.
Mr. Nelson was born 35 years age and lived here all of his life with the exception of the time he was in Logan attending college where he graduated with high honors. He is survived by his wife and one son, his aged mother Mrs. R P Nelson, one brother, R P Nelson and two sisters, Miss Hannah and Miss Agnes, both living at home. Interment was in the cemetery on the hill overlooking beautiful Bear Lake, where his father and one brother and two sisters are buried.
