Gus Petereit, well known resident of Border, Wyoming for many years, died Friday in Kemmerer, Wyoming, following a long illness. He was 64 years of age. Mr. Petereit is survived by a wife and one child who live in Brigham City, Utah, and two daughters and two sons by a former marriage. They are Mrs. Harry Howells of Montpelier; Mrs. Bessie Mansfield of Martinez, California; Claude Petereit of Chicago and Frank Petereit of Raymond.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at 1 pm in the F M Williams Mortuary chapel with Bishop W A Hart of Raymond officiating. The opening prayer was offered by Alma Eschler of Raymond, vocal duet, Richard Tueller and Lowell Davis, solo, "In the Garden of Tomorrow", Frank Williams; remarks, Bishop Fred C Evans; speaker Clyde Wilde; closing remarks, Bishop Hart; duet, "Unanswered Yet" Lowell Davis and Richard Tueller; benediction offered by Edward Bischoff of Geneva.

Interment was made in the Montpelier city cemetery and the grave was dedicated by Alfred Blaser.
