KILLED IN MINE CAVE-IN ACCIDENT
Grant Leroy Wallentine, 42, was killed at a cave-in accident at the Conda Phosphate mine February 23. He was born April 23, 1913 at Paris, the son of William and Bertha Wallentine. He had been employed at the mine since April 1941.
Survivors include his widow and daughter Lynette 9; his parents; four brothers and five sisters, Rex J Wallentine and Russell W Wallentine both of Paris; Lewis C Wallentine of Twin Falls; Earl D Wallentine of Montpelier; Mrs. Wilma Jackson and Mrs. Joyce Johnson of Randolph; Mrs. Leda Bentsen of Montpelier; Mrs. Norma Jensen of Paris and Mrs. Loda Nelson of Logan.
Funeral services were conducted in the Conda LDS Chapel.
