George Bagley and Glademere Mumford

George Bagley and Glademere Mumford were taken to the Montpelier hospital early Sunday morning with scalp lacerations and shock sustained when the car in which they were traveling struck a horse on the main highway five miles north of this city (Montpelier).

They also suffered body bruises and each sustained a severed artery caused by broken glass.  Mr. Mumford was discharged from the hospital Sunday afternoon.  Mr. Bagley was there until Wednesday.  The animal was killed following the accident, due to injuries sustained in the accident reported State Traffic Officer Cavanaugh.
