INFLUENZA VICTIM
In our last issue we made brief mention of the death of Geneva
Rich of St Charles but due to the arrival of the report were unable to give the
matter as full a discussion as it deserved. Miss Rich was a young woman who was
well known through the valley. A year ago she was a student at the Academy where
she showed marked state in musical work.
She was born in St Charles about twenty-two years ago her parents being Mr. and Mrs. Edwin C Rich of that place. Her final illness lasted about two weeks. On the morning she died, it seemed she would soon be recovered and she appeared to tell better than she had. The relapse later in the day was so suddenly fatal as to add to the sadness of the death. The entire valley lends its sympathy to the bereaved family.
