The new Gem Theater of Montpelier has announced their opening night for next Tuesday evening with a big feature production. The theatre will be under the management of Walter S Stevens, who will devote his entire time and interest in making the play house one of the finest in the state.

"Confusion" which will be presented here Saturday evening by the
Montpelier High School is a three act comedy full of life and actions. It deals
with the troubles which arise when Mortimer Mumbleford refused to permit his
bride of two months to have a little pet dog.
This play was stated by the school dramatic company in the Gem Theatre in Montpelier. The house was packed and many favorable comments were made.
