Funeral services were held Monday in the LDS Fourth ward chapel for the late Fred Trussell under the direction of Bishop B E Mumford. The opening hymn was "O My Father" by the choir with the invocation by Simon Einzenger; hymn "Ye Simple Souls Who Stray" choir; remarks by Bishop Mumford and Edward Grosjean; a male quartet composed of Herman Hoff, Lawrence Lee, Arnold Tueller and Bishop Mumford sang "Until the Dawn." Speakers were Rudolph Bienz and President Ed C Rich, followed by hymn "Rock of Ages" by the choir; benediction, Fred Ochsenbein; dedication of the grave by Leroy Blaser.
Mr. Trussell died on Thursday February 17th at a local hospital. He was 82 years old and was a native of Switzerland. Besides his widow he is survived by the following children; Mrs. Alfred Blaser of Montpelier and Mrs. Emil Grosjean of Logan, by a former marriage; Mrs. Hulda Huppi of Logan; Mrs. Nellie Mitchell of Ogden; William, Ruth, Joseph, Alice, Louise and Grant Trussell, all of Montpelier; also fourteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
