Dies Suddenly of Heart Attack
Frederick Henry Briscoe, 77, died suddenly of a heart attack at
12:30 pm Wednesday at his home in Bloomington. The son of George and Mary
Ward Brisco, he was born October 10, 1877 at Instock, Derby County, England.
When he was two and one half years old, he accompanied his parents to America.
He married Carrie E Thompson of Bloomington on September 5, 1901 and the marriage was solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple October 10, 1901. Mr. Briscoe engaged in farming until his health failed. Besides his widow, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Clarence (Ilah) Bolton of Conda, and Mrs. Clifford (Clea) Price of Paris; one sister Mrs. J Burton (Alice) Payne of Bloomington; 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren..
Services will be held at 2 pm Saturday in the Bloomington ward chapel with interment in the Bloomington cemetery. The Matthews Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
