EMERSON SCHOOL
Friday afternoon, Dec 2, a debate was given by the students of
the Emerson school. Those representing the affirmative side were Harold
Shepherd, Ira Hayward and Geraint Humphrys. Those who argued the negative were
Guy Allred, Harold Rogers and Reginald Minson.
The debates were followed by a recitation by William Lewis, a song by Lena Stevens, Leone Wallentine and Vinnie Shepherd. The judges rendered their decision in favor of the negative.
Friday afternoon the pupils of the intermediate grades surprised their teacher Fred Price, who proceeded to enjoy a social program and a delicious picnic.
