Elders E Bramwell and Amasa Rich from Paris addressed the Saints
on Sunday, Aug 9th. The largest dance ever held inthe Stocks pavilion occurred
last Saturday when over 100 numbers were sold.
Miss Janie Marks of Salt Lake is visiting her aunt, Miss Hattie Findlay of this place. Leon J Findlay is in town again looking after his business interests and is accompanied by David Athay of Paris.

Ezra J Howell is away from home receiving the sheep that he
bought a few weeks ago. School has opened for the primary grades and is being
taught by Miss Helton, who is doing good work. The principal, Mr. Lobdell, has
not yet arrived to take the higher grades.

Prof. F Milo Lobdell, instructor in the schools at Fish Haven, was in town on business Saturday. He reports a large attendance at the schools there, Miss Helton being the other teacher. A brass band is being organized in the school, a number of boys being capable musicians.

Charles Stock, the Fish Haven magnate, was in Paris Monday and reports that himself and brothers have purchased the Nelson property at that place. Dances will be given in the pavilion there on Christmas and New Year eves.

John Winterbottom is moving into town and will occupy the house until recently occupied by Sam Winterbottom, who has removed to Ezra Howell's tenant house preparatory to moving to Smoot Wyo. Thomas McCann has also moved temporarily into the house formerly occupied by Mr. Ericson; Messrs McCann and Kiel expect to depart for Ham's Fork in the new future.
The residences of Mesdames Nelson and Pugmire are nearing completion. Mr. and Mrs. Ericson and son John departed Monday for Utah, which they expect to make their future home. Hiram Scofield is attending April Conference in Salt Lake.
Will Stock returned from Logan Thursday, where he has been attending school.
