DEATH
Died at her home in this city, after three days illness on
Sunday, November 28, 1897, Mrs. Felicia Jane Stuart, wife of David C Stuart Jr.
aged 24 years and three months. Her many friends were greatly surprised and
sorrow stricken last Sunday afternoon when the news of Mrs. D C Stuart's death
was passed from one to another. Few knew she was even sick and only the members
of the family knew of the seriousness of her case, until death came.
The deceased was born in Malad this state and was a Miss Astle before her marriage to Mr. Stuart five years ago. Besides the husband she leaves a mother and three brothers, Arthur, Henry and Charles Astle, to mourn her untimely death. The funeral took place yesterday at 2 pm from the family residence and was attended by a great number of people.
