MONTPELIER NATIVE DIES IN EVANSTON
Ernest Loraine Zumbrunnen, 73, died Friday at Evanston, Wyoming. The son of Albrecht and Magdalene Zumbrennen, he was born in Montpelier, July 3, 1883. He lived here until about 1921 and spent the remainder of his life in western Wyoming. He was never married. Mr. Zumbrunnen was a member of the LDS Church. Surviving are two sisters Mrs. William B (Almeda) Richmond of San Gabriel, California; Mrs. Martha Turner of Nampa and a number of nieces and nephews.
Services were held at 1 pm Tuesday in the Matthews Mortuary Chapel with Counselor Philip Hulme conducting. The opening song "Nearer My God To Thee" was by Mr. and Mrs. Roger D Burgoyne accompanied by Mrs. Hulme; invocation Edward Grosjean; obituary Counselor Hulme; vocal solo "In The Garden" Mrs. Roger D Burgoyne; speaker President Sidney E Burgoyne; vocal solo "Going Home" Mr. Roger D Burgoyne; benediction Nile Matthews.
Interment was in the Montpelier cemetery and
the grave was dedicated by Lynn Nate. The Matthews Mortuary was in charge
of arrangements.
