RITES HELD IN LIBERTY SHARON

 

Funeral services for Mrs. Emily Lougee, 86 were held at 2 pm September 20 in the Liberty Sharon ward chapel with Counselor Reed Hymas conducting.  The opening song "Reverently and Meekly Now" was by a quartet comprised of Stanley Morgan, Norman Roberts, Evan Morgan and Marvin Hymas, accompanied by Idell Matthews; invocation President William K Matthews; vocal duet "Wonderful Mother of Mine" Colleen Ward and Karen Hymas; remarks Counselor Hymas; speaker Albert E Miller; vocal duet "Beautiful Land" Mrs. Reed Lowe and Max Haddock accompanied by Mrs. Lester Armatage; speaker Amos B Hulme; song "I Need Thee Every Hour" quartet; benediction Bishop C N Carlsen.

Interment was in the Sharon cemetery and the grave was dedicated by Joseph Clegg. The Matthews Mortuary was in charge of arrangements. Pall bearers were Lavern Clegg, Thomas Clegg, Chester Reid, Elijah Reid, Glen Ebert and Don Mickelson.
