Ellis Skinner, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Skinner, of this city, passed away in a Salt Lake hospital last Friday morning. He was there for treatment. It will be remembered that Ellis was severely injured several years ago by having a horse fall on him and ever since has been under medical treatment. He was 19 years of age and had lived all his life in Bear Lake county. Besides his parents he is survived by several brothers and sisters.

One year ago, on the 9th of June, his brother Bryce lost his life by drowning in Bear river near the Montpelier Paris bridge. Funeral services were held Monday in this city at the Second Ward chapel, under the direction of Bishop Mumford, with the Williams Mortuary in charge.

Funeral services were held from the Second Ward Chapel Monday morning for  Ellis Skinner, who passed away Friday, May 18th in Salt Lake City, at St Mark's Hospital where he has been receiving medical treatment. Death was due to nephritis.

The young man, who was nineteen years of age, is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Skinner, five sisters and one brother. Interment was made in the Montpelier cemetery.
