Mrs. Eliza Stewart of this city died last Friday, March 30, at the home of her son, L E Stewart, of complications incident to old age. She was born in Salt Lake City 86 years ago.
Mrs. Stewart is survived by four children, L E Stewart Montpelier, Frank Stewart, Salt Lake City, J S Stewart, Logan and Mrs. A W Anderson of California. Funeral services were conducted last Sunday at the Williams mortuary and interment was in the Montpelier cemetery.

Mrs. Eliza Stewart passed away in Montpelier at the home of her
son, L R Stewart on Friday, March 30th. Mrs. Stewart was a native of Utah all
her life, until about ten years ago. Since that time she had spent most of the
time in Montpelier. She was born at the Old Fort in Salt Lake City, April 16,
1848.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Mae Taylor of Salt Lake and Mrs. Clarice Anderson of Logan Utah; also four sons, J F and E A Stewart of Los Angeles; L E Stewart of Montpelier and Fernard Stewart of Salt Lake City.
Funeral services were held Sunday from the Williams Undertaking Chapel being conducted by Bishop Louis Perkins of the First Ward. F L Cruikshand dedicated the grave.
