The life of Mrs. Fred Grunig ended Tuesday at 8:45 pm t her home in Montpelier. Mrs. Grunig, who was 68 years of age, was born in Bern, Switzerland, November 16, 1869. She came to America at the age of eight but since that time had lived in Bear Lake county. Mrs. Grunig is survived by six daughters and two sons; Mrs. John Messerley and Mrs. Jim Hayes both of Ogden; Mrs. James Whinham, Mrs. Albert Parker, and Mrs. Mark Dunn of Montpelier; Mrs. Jesse Schidegger of Paris; Lewis and Lorraine Grunig, both of Montpelier.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at the Third Ward chapel at 2 pm.

Funeral services for the late Mrs. Fred Grunig were held last Saturday at two pm in the Third ward chapel with Bishop Emery Mumford in charge. The opening song by the choir was, "Oh My Father", prayer J H Holmes; song, "Resting Now from Care and Sorrow' choir; remarks by Bishop Sidney Burgoyne; vocal solo, Mrs. B E Mumford; other speakers were David A Lewis, Edward Grosjean and President Ed C Rich. As a closing number the choir sang "Sometime We'll Understand." The benediction was offered by David Roderick and the grave was dedicated by Bishop Emery Mumford.

Albert Parker, James Whinham, Jesse Scheidigger, Herman Grunig, John Messerley and Mark Dunn acted as pall bearers.
