MOTHER
Not until we had gone to press last week did we learn of the sad
death of Mrs. Hyrum Skinner of Nounan which occurred on Wednesday, January 7,
caused from bronchia pneumonia. Mrs. Skinner has been sick for five months
suffering from paralysis, but apparently she was some better when she took with
pneumonia and passed away, leaving her husband and ten children, eight of whom
are at home, who will miss the love and care of a dear good mother.
The deceased was born in Salt Lake City June 13, 1868, and was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hunter of Bennington. She was devoted to her children and was an affectionate wife. The funeral services were held last Friday. Many beautiful floral offerings were tendered by her many friends. Heartfelt sympathy is extended to Mr. Skinner and his children.
