DEATH OCCURS IN MICHIGAN
Mrs. Effie Cook Tanner, 55, of Pomona, California, a native of Dingle, who lived in Montpelier and later in Utah before moving to California, died March 23rd at the residence of a son, Jay Tanner in Rockford Michigan. Mrs. Tanner was born November 4, 1899 in Dingle, to George H and Hannah Elizabeth Coo. She married Rulon J Tanner on September 11, 1924. He died January 6, 1950. Mrs. Tanner was a member of the LDS Church.
Survivors include her son, Jay Tanner of Rockford, Michigan, a daughter, Mrs. Beverly Hale of Pomona, California; seven grandchildren; one brother and two sisters, Seldon Cook of Fawnskin, California; Mrs. Ethel C Clark and Mrs. Marie Burgoyne of Salt Lake City.
Funeral services and burial were held Saturday
in Pomona.
