The purchase of a double head horizontal type siren, were among the business items transacted Wednesday at the city county meeting. the siren now located on tope of the police station will be operated from the telephone office through the courtesy of the Mountain States Telephone Company. It is planned to sound the siren at noon for the purpose of a daily check as well as indicate the time.
Fire Chief E B Wuthrich and Mayor F M Williams, emphasized the need of all water users to discontinue using water when the siren is sounded; pressure in the outlying mains is very low and in case of a fire all the pressure is needed they said.
