FORMER RESIDENT DIES IN NAMPA
 

Edward Francis Kibby, resident of Dingle until 1952, died March 19 in Nampa.  Mr. Kibby was born in Osceola, Nebraska in 1874, a son of Coverse A and Cecelia A Booth Kibby. He moved from Nebraska to Missouri where he was engaged in farming.  In Fairfax he married Minnie E Baker on November 21, 1899.  After their marriage they moved to Iowa, where Mr. Kibby was a section foreman for the Burlington railroad.  Upon leaving Iowa, Mr. Kibby went to Border, Wyoming and continued in the capacity of section foreman for the Union Pacific for three years.  He left Border in 1924 to operate a farm in Dingle and was active in this occupation until 1952 when he moved to Nampa to make his home with a son Edgar Kibby, until his death.

He is survived by his widow, and five sons, Edgar Kibby of Nampa, Lloyd Kibby of San Francisco, Raymond Kibby of Montpelier, Darwin Kibby of Ironsides, Oregon and Edward F Kibby of Dingle; and four daughters Mrs. Cleo Tyler of Sunnymead, California; Mrs. Wilford Bergreen of Altadena California; Mrs. Claude Hartson of Salt Lake City and Mrs. Russell Hansen of Montpelier; 20 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

The was interned on March 23 in Kohler Lawns at Nampa.
