Edgar and Nancy Allred

Edgar Martindale Allred was born in
Grantsville, Tooele County, Utah, 27 Feb 1858, the son of William Moore Allred
and Mary Jane Martindale. His mother died with he was only two and he was
raised by his father's first wife, Orissa Bates. He came with his parents when the pioneers
settled Bear Lake Valley. On 19 Nov 1890 he married Nancy Henrietta Hunt in the
Logan LDS Temple. He was State Representative from Bear Lake County
for two terms, served on the St Charles Town Council and on the St Charles
Irrigation Board. He died 5 Dec 1925 and was buried in the St Charles
Cemetery. Nancy Hunt was born 6 Feb 1863 in Grantsville, the daughter of
Alexander and Elizabeth (Tilt). She died 13 Dec 1944 in Pocatello and was
buried in the St Charles Cemetery.
