De Wayne Earl Bowman, son of W Woodruff and Gwendolyn Hirschi Bowman, died in Ogden, August 24 from complications following an operation. The little boy was born 6 October 1938 and was an only child.

Funeral services were held in Geneva Monday at 1 o'clock under the direction of the Williams Mortuary and were opened by the choir singing "Beautiful Home"; invocation Bishop Henry Teuscher; musical prelude Margaret Widmer; remarks by Bishop Lyman Tueller; speaker Eugene Hall; vocal duet by Lewis Schrier and Mrs. Reynold Hirschi; speaker Ed Bischoff; song "There is a New Star in Heaven Tonight" by F M Williams; speaker Clyde Wilde; song by the choir "Nearer Dear Saviour To Thee"; benediction Christian Hirschi Jr.

The body of the little boy was brought to the Montpelier cemetery for burial where the grave was dedicated by George L Widmer. F M Williams Mortuary conveyed the remains from Ogden to Geneva for the funeral services.
