Funeral services for the late David R Martin, former Montpelier
resident were held Thursday at two o'clock in the Second ward chapel.
Mr. Martin, who had made his headquarters in Rock Springs for several years, died suddenly in the Rock Springs hospital from a heart attack. Mr. Martin was born in Samaria, Idaho, the son of John and Anna Martin and was 68 years old. His wife preceded him in death on 3 February 1933.
Survivors include his son, Lee Martin and on sister, Mrs. J W Hoskins, both of Montpelier and three brothers, Evan and Joe Martin of Samaria and Ed Martin of Ogden. Mr. Martin was engaged in business in Montpelier at one time, moving from here about thirty years ago. He later moved and made his residence here again before locating in Wyoming.
