David George Boehme

David George Boehme, 20 years of age, who has been working on his father's farm near Geneva, was today a very proud and happy boy.

He received word that the had been awarded an honorary and complete scholarship in diesel and automotive training at the National Schools in Los Angeles.  He was one of 100 winners out of a total of more than 10,000 contestants in the United States and Canada.

More than $30,000 is being distributed in free tuition and round trip transportation to Los Angeles under the fund established by Mr. and Mrs. J A Rosendranz, who founded the national trade school in 1905.  Boehme was selected to receive the scholarship based on his essay, in which he set forth the reason he desires to establish himself in the field of diesel and automotive work.
