Bear Lake Courthouse

Our courthouse was designed by Truman Angel Jr. the son of Truman Angel Sr. of Utah, who designed the Lion House, The Beehive House and many others. Angle Jr. started assisting his father when he was 12. He designed the Cache County Courthouse and ours looks similar to that one. In 1885 Angel Jr. was in Paris finishing the courthouse when the county decided to build the tabernacle a half block away.
