Clark Grocery

The Montpelier Examiner, March 14, 1913

Last Saturday night along about nine o'clock, someone broke the big plate glass window at the Clark Grocery up town and entering the store proceeded to rob the cash till of something like 40 cents and to likewise help themselves to a lot of Easter candies.

Aside from these two articles there was no evidence that anything else had been taken.  Judging from the manner in which the work was done officers are of the opinion that some of the youngsters around town turned the trick, mostly to get some candy and a little pocket change.  no clue has been discovered as to who did the work.
