RITES HELD FOR CHARLES DERRICOTT
Funeral services for Charles Derricott, who died May 23rd were held in the Liberty Sharon ward chapel Monday at 2 pm under the direction of the Montpelier Fifth Ward Bishopric, Roscoe E Evans conducting. The opening prayer was by Lyman A Hymas; obituary Mr. Evans; vocal solo; "Whispering Hope" Max Haddock; speaker Bishop Marvin Hymas; vocal solo "In The Garden" Mrs. Reed Lowe and Mr. Haddock, accompanist Mrs. Lester Armatage; prayer President Kenneth Matthews; dedicatory prayer, Eldon Hymas. Prayer at the home was by Arch Wallentine.
Pall bearers were the following grandsons; Jimmie Derricott, Max Lauridsen, Don Johnson, Larry Young, Terry Derricott and Jay Johnson. Granddaughters who acted as flower girls were Laverna Wood, Glenda Derricott, Loye Derricott, Elaine Young, Shannon Derricott, Betty Johnson, Alma Johnson, Jeanine Derricott and Mary Jo Headlee. The prelude and postlude were played by Veda Roberts.
Interment was in the Liberty Cemetery.
