Charlotte Isabelle Innes

Charlotte Isabella Innes was born July 15, 1865 in Paris Idaho,
the daughter of Thomas Innis and Margaret Lauted who were from England, in a
little log house with a dirt floor and suffered all the hardships of pioneer
days She knew what it was to go hungry and scantily clad. A few years
later her folks were able to build a log house with a floor in it.
Here she grew to young womanhood. She was very ambitious for an education and took advantage of every opportunity. She taught school in Paris, Preston and Bennington, Idaho and with the money earned she purchased an organ and other furniture to go in her mother's home. Later she conducted a class in music.
She was the secretary in the Primary organized in Paris and was also corresponding secretary of the stake Relief Society for serveral years. She was secretary of the First Ward Relief Society for five years and was counselor in the First Ward Primary for several years.
She grew to be a beautiful woman and on June 26, 12886 was married to Welcome William Price, son of Robert Price and Matilda Louisa Kelsey. She gave birth to eight children, three of whom died in early childhood. She was a loving mother. On April 28, 1916 she died very suddenly of heart trouble at Brigham City Utah, at the home of her daughter Matilda Louise. The funeral service was held the following Monday afternoon at Paris Idaho in the First Ward. She was buried in the Paris Cemetery.
