A SUDDEN DEATH
Little Charlie son of Mr. and Mrs. William Roberts of this city, died Thursday at their home in this city. His demise was caused by paralysis of the muscles of the vocal chords. Although ailing for some time his sickness was not thought to be at all serious until a few minutes before death. A report has gone out that diphtheria was the cause of his taking, but this is not the case.
The parents to whom the blow is particularly severe on account of the lovableness of the child, have the sympathy of the entire community in their great sorrow. The funeral took place Saturday, from the Presbyterian church. Bishop Clark, Mr. Hillier and Miss Leonard speaking words of comfort to the bereaved relatives.
CARD OF THANKS
We desire, in the fullness of our hearts, to express our deep thankfulness to all those who so unselfishly assisted and kindly ministered to our wants during the illness and death of our beloved child, Charlie. Those deeds will ever remain in our memory as a bright spot in otherwise sorrowing gloom.
Mr. and Mrs. Wm Roberts
