LIGHTING PLAYS HAVOC AT SHARON
Lightning did considerable damage at Sharon last Wednesday afternoon. While one of the Parker boys was mowing haw, a team belonging to Charles Linford, which was hitched to the mower, was struck and both horses were instantly killed. The boy was slightly stunned but not injured.
The same afternoon 43 head of sheep belonging to S W Matthews, which were grazing in Liberty Canyon were killed by lightning.
