Chadville

Information comes from Treasured Tidbits of Time Volume I by Jens Patrick Wilde

Chadville was once a post office terminal on the Oregon Short Line.  It was the first such office established in Idaho and held the mail for the early survey crews for the OSL.

It was started in 1881 with Peter Pool as first postmaster and it terminated as the crews moved westward in 1882.
