BOY INJURED WHILE HEADING
Cecil Kunz, 16 year old son of Mrs. Henry Kunz of Bern, was accidentally jabbed in the leg with a pitchfork while heading grain Tuesday. He was riding on a wagon when another boy threw the pitchfork up to him, one of the tines going completely through his leg.
He was rushed to the Montpelier Hospital where he was given blood serum and all possible precautions were taken to prevent lock jaw or other infection. Today he was reported rapidly recovering.
