Mrs. B Marie Jensen, an old pioneer of Ovid died in that town last Friday. She was 80 years of age.

ANOTHER PIONEER

Last Friday, Mrs. Bole Marie Jensen, one of the early settlers of Ovid, said goodbye to all and departed from this life, caused from general debility. She was the wife of Peter Jensen who served as bishop in Ovid for more than sixteen years and died about two years ago. Mrs. Jensen was born in Denmark the 8th day of July 1832, came to America in 1863, and after spending one year in Cache valley, located in Ovid. She was the mother of the first child born in Ovid, which happened on the 21st day of November 1864 and L P Jensen is living today who will testify to the event.

The deceased leaves three sons, L P Jensen and James Jensen of Ovid and O P Jensen of Shelley Idaho. The funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon.
