Blake Hirschi Schrier, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Schrier, died last Saturday at 1:10 pm in a local hospital following a short illness. The baby was born in Montpelier August 22, 1937.
Funeral services were held Tuesday in the Fourth Ward chapel at two pm and the following ritual was conducted; vocal duet "A Little Pink Rose" by Mrs. Vaughn Morgan and Lydia Schick; invocation, William Nield; organ solo "The Old Refrain" Lillas Swensen; speaker, Bishop J J Sarbach; speaker, Fred Bartlome; vocal solo "One Fleeting Hour" Mrs. B E Mumford; remarks Blanche Kunz and Russell Teuscher; piano solo "Sleep Baby Sleep" Mrs. Lydia Sweewer; speaker Bishop Robert Schmid; vocal solo "Resignation" Mrs. Ed Grosjean; benediction Robert Teuscher.
John Sarbach, Robert Einzinger, Frank Bartlome and Donald Nate acted as pall bearers and the floral offering were carried by twenty small girls assisted by the Fourth Ward Relief Society. Interment was made in the Montpelier cemetery with the grave dedication given by David Hirschi of Rexburg.
