Bernice Marilyn Laughter

Bernice Marilyn Laughter was born October 30,
1941 to Clifford Ray Jensen and Alice Gardner. She passed away on February 8,
2014 in Pocatello, Idaho. Bernice was raised in Montpelier and on June 29, 1963
married Wesley Reed Laughter. They were later sealed in the Logan LDS Temple.
Together they traveled the world – She really enjoyed her years in Germany.
She volunteered extensively at every opportunity presented. Most recently her
volunteer work was focused on the Bear Lake Memorial Hospital Auxiliary and Bear
Lake County Search and Rescue.
Bernice was very talented at crafts from doll making to sewing. Many were
blessed by her gifts of blankets, pajamas, and hats. She retired from Bear Lake
County Sheriff’s Department after more than 30 years of service.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, her son Curtis Lynn (Marie) and
daughter Lory. She is also survived by her brother Edwin (Cheryl) Jensen, sister
Barbara Pike, 11 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and
nephews. Services will be held on Wednesday, February 12 at noon at the
Georgetown LDS chapel with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment
will be at the Ovid Cemetery.
