Christian Kunz of Bern has lately purchased an improved header,
the virtues and merits of which he intends giving a thorough test on his large
and valuable farm. The farmers here about will watch with interest the relative
advantages or disadvantages of this machine over the old harvester or binder.
Walter Findlay of Bern started the harvester into a 40 acre field of dry farm wheat Tuesday of last week. Capable judges estimate that this field will average 40 bushels per acre. Where can they beat this?
