Death of B F Glauner
Benjamin F Glauner died at his home on Eight Mile Creek last Friday, October 4, 1907 at 12:30 o'clock p. m. of Brights disease, having been a sufferer for several years. The funeral was held Sunday afternoon from the Presbyterian church in this city. Rev R Tweed officiating and burial made in the Mound cemetery.
Mr. Glauner was born in Bourbon, Richland County, Ohio on the 25th day of January 1836, which made him 71 years, eight months and nine days old at his death. He was married in Missouri in 1862 to Sarah E Spratt and in the same year enlisted in the army and was with Sherman on his famous march to the sea. He located in this vicinity in 1886 and has since resided here with his family. He is survived by his wife and five children as follows: J W and W F Glauner, Mrs. George A Miller and Mrs. G___ (unreadable) W Hulme, all whom reside in this vicinity, and Mrs. Carrie Eliason of Racetrack, Montana.
Mr. Glauner was well known and respected by all. During the past two years the disease which caused his demise has kept him at home most of the time, but he was confined to his bed only ten days before his death. He was a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints-Soda Springs Chieftain.
