Asael Rich, 20 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Ray C Rich of St Charles died Sunday in the Dee Hospital in Ogden, where he had been receiving treatment for a head infection. The young man was born and reared in St Charles, where he resided all his life except while away at school.
He was a student of Fielding high school in Paris and aat the time of his graduation was a student body president. He also attended the USAC in Logan for two years. Besides his parents he is survived by one sister, Miss Meredith Rich and three brothers, Lothair, Vernon and Vearl Rich, all of St Charles.
The funeral was held today (Thursday) at one pm in the St Charles chapel, with interment in the cemetery there.

Funeral services for Asael Rich were held at the chapel in St Charles last Thursday at 1 pm when the following rites were conducted: Song "Sometime We'll Understand" choir; opening prayer, Bishop Keetch; song "Come Unto Me" Michaelson quartet; remarks by Burdette Pugmire, John Wright and Wilford Price; trio by Spencer girls of Paris; speeches by William Keetch, George Stock, Orson Brown of Salt Lake City and Bishop J J Sarbach; song "O My Father" by Fielding quartet; remarks by Laurel Pugmire, President Ed C Rich and Bishop Monson; closing song by choir, "Thy Will Be Done" and benediction given by John Morgan.
Interment was made in the St Charles cemetery where the grave was dedicated by Arlin Pugmire.
