On Thursday last, Oct 20th a number of the old time friends and neighbors of Mrs. Ann Passey, met at her home in this city to celebrate her 94th birthday. After singing some of the old songs a sketch by Mrs. Mary Ann Oakey, the reminders of the afternoon was spent in conversing of old times.

Dainty refreshments were served and a most enjoyable time was had by all. The elderly lady, who is still hale and hearty, was the receipent of many useful presents. After the company singing, "When Shall We Meet Again," prayer was offered by A S Hoge.

Those present were the Madame Ashley, S Price, Hoge, Oakey, Drusilla Passey, M J Bolton, Roberts, Louisa Passey, Lina Thornock, Grimmett, Bertha Hoge and Annie Passey.
