Mrs. Annie Watkins Parker, 75, widow of the late Oscar F Parker, well known pioneer stock raiser and farmer of Lanark, died Tuesday, April 26, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Parker in Wardboro.

She was born in St Louis 3 Aug 1863, and as a young girl came with her mother to Bear Lake to make her home. She was married to Oscar F Parker on 5 Jan 1885. He preceded her in death six years ago. From this union thirteen children were born, ten boys and three girls, all of whom survive; O T Parker of Wardboro, Russell Parker of Alberta Canada; George H Parker of Wardboro; Mrs. Ella Benson of Newton Utah; Charles N Parker of Ovid; Harvey N Parker of Lanark; Joseph W Parker of Lanark; C H Parker of Salt Lake City; Mrs. Lila Bunn of Lanark; Renald Parker of Wardboro; Mrs. Arvilla McMurry of Salt Lake City; Carlos Parker and Archie Parker of Lanark; also fifty-six grandchildren and on great grandchild and one sister, Mrs. Mary Jane Passey of Rigby.

Mrs. Parker had had four sons fulfill missions for the LDS Church, O T Parker and W R Parker three years each in the Netherlands mission, C H Parker, two years in the Northwestern states and Archie Parker, who returned less than three weeks ago after spending twenty six months in the Southern states mission.

Funeral services will be held at the Lanark meeting house at 2 pm Friday.

Funeral services for the late Mrs. Oscar F Parker were held in the Lanark ward chapel Friday at 2 pm when the following rites were conducted:

Quartet, "O My Father" invocation, Bishop Oliver Peterson of Ovid; remarks Bishop Ernest Hymas; "The Lord's Prayer" by the Singing Mothers of the Paris Second Ward; remarks Bishop Ernest Allred of St Charles; vocal solo, Mrs. Henry Parker of Paris; remarks, Bishop John A Berrey of Wardboro, vocal duet, Mrs. Herbert Spencer and Mrs. Wallentine of Paris; speaker President Alfred Hart of Bloomington; vocal duet Mr. and Mrs. Henry Parker; benediction Bishop Morgan of Liberty.

The grave was dedicated by Bishop Jared Parker of Bennington and interment was made in the Lanark cemetery. Twelve of the thirteen children and their families were present. Bishop W R Parker of Alberta, Canada was unable to attend.
