DEATH FOLLOWS SUDDEN ILLNESS
Anne Harriet Lowrie King, 73 wife of Dr. Harry H King, died suddenly Wednesday morning. The daughter of Duncan and Sarah Lowrie, she was born May 15, 1888 at Topeka Kansas. She married Dr. King at Pocatello January 18, 1905 and in July of that year moved to Montpelier where she has since resided. She was active in musical and social groups and was a past matron of Betsey Ross Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star. Mrs. King was a member of the Episcopal Church.
Besides her husband she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Lyon (Dorothy) Healy of Pocatello and Mrs. Edwin E (Frances) Bennett of La Grande Oregon; one son Duncan L King of Montpelier; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Services will be held at 10 am Friday in the Community Church. The Matthews Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
