DIES FOLLOWING LONG ILLNESS
Anna M West, 74, died Friday in the Bear Lake Memorial Hospital following a long illness. She was born in Norway, May 11, 1881 a daughter of Arthur and Anna Christianson and came to this country with her parents when 10 years old.
She married Joseph Myers in 1901 at Fargo, North Dakota. They lived in North Dakota and Montana until 1910 when they moved to Montpelier and operated a confectionery store for several years. Mr. Meyers died in 1915. She married E A West in 1919. He died in 1934.
Mrs. West is survived by three brothers, Nels, Simon and Oliver Christianson, all of Grenora, North Dakota; two sisters, Mrs. Lillian McFarland of Grenville North Dakota and Mrs. Leona Gerhold of Pamona, California. Services were conducted at 1 pm in Matthews Mortuary Chapel with the Reverend W Scott Bowman officiating. A vocal selection "In The Garden" was by Mrs. Reed Lowe, with Mrs. Lester Armatage accompanying on the organ. Interment was in the Montpelier cemetery.
