Amy Jensen Fire
The Montpelier Examiner, May 28, 1913
The residence owned by Miss Amy Jensen and occupied by C H Buck and family was partially destroyed by fire, which started about 7 o'clock last Saturday morning. Neighbors who saw the flames issuing from the roof hurried to the house to awaken Mr. and Mrs. Buck, who were asleep in a bedroom downstairs.
Practically all of the furniture was removed
from the house and Mr. Buck places his loss at about $125. The house
damaged to the extent of about $300. The origin of the fire is a mystery.
There had been no fire in any of the stoves since the evening before and no one
was occupying the room in which the fire started.
