COUNTY SCHOOLS
County Superintendent Miss Hermione Hart is making a tour of the
county in the interest of the schools, and reports a good work being done
generally. In speaking of the matter to a representative of the Post,
Miss Hart said:
"I was gratified to find that diligent effort is being made throughout the county generally in the school work. In Alton, Miss Rozetta Welker is doing good work in all grades, while she has but 17 enrolled."
