FINAL RITES HELD FOR ALFRED STONER
Funeral services for the late Alfred Stoner were held on Friday at 2 pm in the Matthews Mortuary chapel with the Rev G Eldred Kelley officiating. Pre service music and the postlude were played by Mrs. Philip Hulme; call to worship and invocation, Rev Kelley; vocal selection "In The Garden" Max Haddock, accompanied by Mrs. Hulme; Scripture and prayer, Rev Kelley; speaker, Bishop Doyle Anthony; vocal solo, "The Lord's Prayer" Mr. Haddock; benediction Rev Kelley.
Hope Rebekah Lodge No 20 was in charge of the floral arrangements. Interment was in the Montpelier cemetery, where the grave was dedicated by Rev Kelley.
The pall bearers were William J Ansell, Fred Bartlome, Walter Buhler, George Knutti, Leonard Mosteller and Charles O'Connor. The Matthews Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
