MRS. DANKS ENDS HER LIFE-Mrs. Alfred Danks committed suicide at the home of her mother Mrs. Margaret Loveday, last Sunday afternoon by taking strychnine. about 3:30 pm she was found lying in the yard of her mother's home. Physicians were called, but it was some time before they learned from her that she had taken the poison. It was then too late to save her life and the end came about 8 pm Sunday evening. Mr. Danks died last March from the flu.
Despondency caused by his death and poor health, resulting from an operation affected her mind to some extent and caused her to commit the rash act. Besides her mother and two brothers, Kem and Iver Loveday, she is survived by two grown children, a son and a daughter.
Funeral services were held from her mother's home Tuesday afternoon.
